WPR054: The Courage Habit: The Key to Breaking Free from Your Limitations with Kate Swoboda

Courage isn’t a topic that I’ve talked about a lot on this show, but after learning a little more about the work that Kate Swoboda is doing, I was excited to invite her on the show. One of the things I really want to do on the Working Parent Resource Podcast is pull back the curtains on what’s REALLY motivating our behavior as working parents. I see a lot of solutions out there to help overwhelmed working parents, but a lot of them only address the surface level of the complex issues that parents are facing. Today Kate and I are diving much deeper into what really holds people back from pursuing a life that feels really GOOD for them. We talk about the reality of establishing new habits, and how our habits really are the foundation of the life we live. Kate not only offers some really interesting insights, but she also offers very practical action steps for you to take as you begin to implement these things into your own life.

Kate Swoboda is the creator of YourCourageousLife.com, Director of the Courageous Living Coach Certification at TribeCLCC.com, and author of the book, The Courage Habit. Her work has appeared in USA Today, Forbes, Entrepreneur, MindBodyGreen, and more. The Courage Habit discusses the connection between the psychology of courage and the neuropsychology of habit-formation, and the tools can be used in leadership, parenting, with creativity, and more.
